Das einst von Leonard Cohen für „smoked meat“ geschätzte Main Deli hat im Mai 2023 geschlossen. Check LEONARD COHEN PLACES: Things come and go, some things stay The „second“ Leonard Cohen mural behind the former „Moishe“ is still around in 2023. The „main deli“, once prized by Leonard Cohen for „smoked meat“, closed in May 2023.
KW-20-2023: Travelling Montreal und mein Manuskript für mein nächstes Buch mit dem Titel „Marillion, Montreal & Leonard Cohen“ beendend – Es gibt viel zu entdecken, z.B. jene Orte, die mit Marillion oder Leonard Cohen in Montreal zu tun haben. Checken, welche Plätze noch vorhanden sind, welche nicht. z.B. ist das Lieblingsrestaurant von Leonard Cohen, das „Moishe“ auf dem St. Boulevard / The „Main“ der Pandemie zum Opfer gefallen. Auf GOOGLE MAPS habe ich einen kleinen „City Guide“ für Montreal-Besucher zusammengestellt, die sich für Marillion und Leonard Cohen interessieren. KW-19-2023: Travelling Montreal, finishing my soon outcoming next book „Marillion, Montreal & Leonard Cohen“ – Marillion Weekend 2023 in Montreal – Day 3/ 3
The third day of the „Marillion Weekend 2023“ in Montreal was also a bit dominated by Leonard Cohen. At the evening event before the concert „Audience with Marillion“, a Marillion fan congratulated Steve „H“ Hogarth in detail on how well he succeeded in the song „The Crow & The Nightingale“. Leonard Cohen was called, when the band was asked who they would like to meet.
Auch der dritte Tag des „Marillion Weekend 2023“ in Montreal stand ein wenig im Zeichen von Leonard Cohen. Bei der abendlichen Veranstaltung vor dem Konzert „Audience with Marillion“ hat ein Marillion-Fan Steve „H“ Hogarth ausführklich gratuliert, wie gut ihm der Song „The Crow & The Nightingale“ gelungen ist. Desweiteren wurde Leonard Cohen genannt, als die Band gefragt wurde, wen sie gerne einmal treffen würde
