Der BLOG.LEONARDCOHEN.DE ist eine Subdomain der www.cohenpedia.de (1996-2024), deren Anfänge im Jahre 1996 liegt. Längere Artikel, Discographie und Zahlen, daten und Fakten zu Leonard Cohens Lebenswerk finden auf der Hauptdomain www.cohenpedia.de statt. „Am 21. September 2014 wurde der kanadische Rockpoet Leonard Cohen 80 Jahre alt. Zwei Tage zuvor erschien damals sein neues, damals 13. Album mit dem verheissungsvollen Titel „Popular Problems“.“, hieß es damals im ersten BLOG-Beitrag. KW-35-2024: Visiting Leonard Cohen`s früheres ZEN-Kloster auf dem Mount Baldy, etwa drei Stunden von Huntington Beach/ L.A./ California entfernt auf ca. 2000 Meter Seehöhe in den San Gabriel Mountains nördlich von Los Angeles. 1971 durch Leonard Cohen`s Zen Meister Sasaki Rōshi gegründet. „Wenn dort keine ZA-ZENs (Mediationen), Teishos oder andere Veranstaltungen stattfinden ist das Kloster recht einsam“, sagte mir der dort lebende Zen-Mönch Kojo bei meinem Kloster-Besuch im August 2024. Die glorreichste Zeit des Zen-Zentrums war zu Zeiten, als Leonard Cohen dort jahrelang lebte und er sich über Jahrzehnte zu seinen dortigen „Retreats“ zurückzog. Mehr infos: https://www.mbzc.org/

KW-35-2024: Visiting Leonard Cohen’s former Zen monastery on Mount Baldy, about three hours from Huntington Beach/ L.A./ California at about 2000 meters above sea level in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles. Founded in 1971 by Leonard Cohen’s Zen master Sasaki Rōshi. „If there are no ZA-ZENs (mediations), teishos or other Zen-events taking place there, the monastery is quite lonely,“ the Zen monk Kojo, who lives there, told me during my visit to the monastery in August 2024. But unfortunately, there is no Leonard Cohen – Item to see, in the town, in which Leonard Cohen lived for over 40 years and where he finally died in 2016.

Es gibt dort wunderbare Gegenstände und Erinnerungsstücke der Rock & Pop – Geschichte zu sehen. Extravagante Bühnenkostüme, Gitarren en masse und sonstige Kunst & Kitsch. Vielleicht habe ich in den letzten Jahrzehnten knapp 20 Hard Rock Cafés in Europa, Nordamerika und Asien besucht und stets nach Leonard Cohen-Stücken gesucht aber ich habe noch nie einen Leonard Cohen – Artikel gefunden. Wie geht es anderen? Jemals ein Leonard Cohen-Fundstück in einem Hard Rock Cafe dieser Welt entdeckt? – LEONARD COHEN and the HARD ROCK Cafés .
