KW-12-2020: #Leonard_Cohen_and_…_Corona. Montrealers go onto their balconies at 8 p.m. on March 22 to sing Leonard Cohen’s So Long, Marianne all together.

In Barcelona, locals went on their balconies to play Céline Dion’s My Heart Will Go On together (yet separately), while the people of Italy used their quarantine time to belt out a number of different songs from the comfort of their windows. And now, it’s Montreal’s turn.

As a response, a Facebook event was made that asks all Montrealers to go onto their balconies at 8 p.m. on March 22 to sing Leonard Cohen’s So Long, Marianne all together.
