Es gibt eine fröhliche, lustige, erotische und entzückend filmische Szene mit Niema, Leonard und seinem Freund, dem Dichter Irving Clayton. Es ist so entwaffnend menschlich in seinem Portal von Leonard – seinen Gefühlen, Herausforderungen, Sprachen und Sehnsüchten – und doch auch brillant, als er die Welt als Dichter lebte und sah, und so wurde das Leben ein Gedicht um ihn herum. Ein Gedicht, das wie Leonard gleichzeitig ernst und lustig ist und auch spirituell, sexuell und all die Dinge, die er war. Und sie war das Mädchen in diesem Gedicht.
There’s an exultant, hilarious, erotic and delightfully cinematic scene with Niema, Leonard and his friend, the poet Irving Clayton. It’s so disarmingly human in its portal of Leonard – his sentiments, challenges, languages and yearning – and yet brilliant, too, as he lived and saw the world as a poet, and so life became a poem around him. A poem that, like Leonard, is serious and funny at the same time, and also spiritual, sexual and all the things he was. And she was the girl in that poem.
