Eine Sensation: ABBA melden sich mit zwei neuen Songs zurück
Die legendäre schwedische Band ABBA stand im Studio und nahm zwei neue Songs auf. “Wir kamen zusammen und es fühlte sich an, als hätte die Zeit still gestanden”, schrieb die Band in ihrer Ankündigung. Agnetha, Benny, Björn und Anni-Frid sind damit nach etwa 35 Jahren zurück mit neuer Musik. “Eine sehr freudige Erfahrung”, beschreibt die Band ihre Aufnahmen.
ABBA als Avatare: TV–Performance des neuen Songs “I Still Have Faith In You” im Dezember 2018
Diese freigesetzten Energien bringen eine weitere Besonderheit hervor: Einer der beiden neuen ABBA–Songs – “I Still Have Faith In You” – wird in einer Fernsehsendung von Avataren, also lebensgetreuen Computeranimationen der Bandmitglieder, gespielt. Die Ausstrahlung der Sendung sei im Dezember 2018 von NBC und BBC geplant.

| The decision to go ahead with the exciting ABBA avatar tour project had an unexpected consequence. We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did. And it was like time had stood still and that we only had been away on a short holiday. An extremely joyful experience!
It resulted in two new songs and one of them „I Still Have Faith In You“ will be performed by our digital selves in a TV special produced by NBC and the BBC aimed for broadcasting in December. Agnetha Benny Björn Anni-Frid Stockholm, Sweden, April 27th, 2018
