Following the legendary Liverpool band in the early years of their career, The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years is directed by Academy Award winner Ron Howard (In The Heart of the Sea, Frost/Nixon) and features exclusive and rare footage of the band. Made with the full cooperation of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison the film will showcase the early part of The Beatles’ career – spanning 1962-1966 – and will explore how John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr came together, the decision making process and the creation of their music from the days of The Cavern Club in Liverpool to their final concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in 1966.

Hulu has the exclusive streaming video on-demand rights in the US beginning September 17th with the film the first to be acquired by Hulu’s Documentary Film arm. The World Premiere for the film will take place on 15th September in London’s Leicester Square with the film released in UK cinemas on the same day.
